RoR is a remarkable organization dedicated to supporting First Responders, Active Military, and Veterans through the power of horse riding. By utilizing its funds, the organization offers horse riding lessons tailored for these individuals, providing them with a unique and beneficial experience. Additionally, Reins of Resilience extends its generosity by donating extra funds and resources to contracted equine businesses. This support not only ensures the availability of high-quality horse riding lesson programs but also aids in the maintenance and care of the horses involved. Through these efforts, Reins of Resilience fosters an environment that champions the well-being and resilience of those who serve and have served our communities and nation.
Reins of Resilience is a grass roots operation, that uses local valued horse lesson programs to facilitate an environment where First Responders, Veterans, Active Military, and their dependent children can engage in healthy outlets for stress decompression & community building. We present a unique business model built mindfully with the intention of maximal fund usage. While donations are tax exempt, we recognize the value of the dollar and respect the gift of your hard earned money. The cost of owning our own ranch location & the time needed to develop the expertise our contractors bring to the table would've taken us decades to develop. Instead we chose not to compete with the phenomenal already existing equine businesses in our area. 100% of charitable usage of funds goes into the growth of our contracted partners. We wanted to ethically incentivize the professionalism of the equestrian industry, support small local businesses and ensure high quality horse care. We pay our professionals for the naturally therapeutic equine services they provide for our qualifying participants.

From the moment she first climbed into the saddle, Natalie never looked back. What began as a childhood fascination quickly became a lifelong calling—one she pursued relentlessly as an exercise rider, groom, and trainer, gaining hands-on experience across states, including time spent training in Idaho.
All of it was building toward something bigger: a vision of a self-sustaining, veteran-operated working ranch—a place of purpose, healing, and home.
Raised in a family of veterans, including her father and both grandfathers, Natalie saw firsthand the lasting impact of service. Watching loved ones and peers return home and struggle shaped her mission early on: help where you can, use your strengths, and help as much as you can.
With over a decade of experience in finance and operational management, she brings both passion and structure to that mission. Joining RoR was a natural next step—where her lifelong love of horses and commitment to serving others come together to make that vision real.

Lilla is currently working as a full-time Paramedic in addition to launching this nonprofit. She started riding in a program for Military families before her legs could reach the stirrups. Her Mom and Dad would take her out to the horse ranch as a child and it became an opportunity not only to develop confidence and life skills but to grow connections and memories with family. Lilla soon took on extra jobs around the stables just to squeeze in more horse time. It became her dream to own a couple horses of her own and share the liberating feeling of spending time around such emotionally intelligent and loving creatures. Today she is living that dream by leading the Reins of Resilience mission, with a carefully selected strong and supportive team.

Sarah’s love of horses began at age 11 with her first horse, Benny. Horses remain a grounding source of calm and connection in her life, making her work with Reins of Resilience especially meaningful.
