From the moment she first climbed into the saddle, Natalie never looked back. What began as a childhood fascination quickly became a lifelong calling—one she pursued relentlessly as an exercise rider, groom, and trainer, gaining hands-on experience across states, including time spent training in Idaho.

All of it was building toward something bigger: a vision of a self-sustaining, veteran-operated working ranch—a place of purpose, healing, and home.

Raised in a family of veterans, including her father and both grandfathers, Natalie saw firsthand the lasting impact of service. Watching loved ones and peers return home and struggle shaped her mission early on: help where you can, use your strengths, and help as much as you can.

With over a decade of experience in finance and operational management, she brings both passion and structure to that mission. Joining RoR was a natural next step—where her lifelong love of horses and commitment to serving others come together to make that vision real.

Lilla is currently working as a full-time Paramedic in addition to launching this nonprofit. She started riding in a program for Military families before her legs could reach the stirrups. Her Mom and Dad would take her out to the horse ranch as a child and it became an opportunity not only to develop confidence and life skills but to grow connections and memories with family. Lilla soon took on extra jobs around the stables just to squeeze in more horse time. It became her dream to own a couple horses of her own and share the liberating feeling of spending time around such emotionally intelligent and loving creatures. Today she is living that dream by leading the Reins of Resilience mission, with a carefully selected strong and supportive team.
